Accreditation & Certificates — Doctor Yilmaz Academy

Doctor Yilmaz Academy provides postgraduate medical education for licensed physicians. We do not award official accreditation points (CME/CPD credits), because the Academy is not an accredited accrediting body. Where applicable, we issue a Certificate of Participation to confirm attendance and course completion requirements.

1. No official accreditation points

The Academy does not provide, register, or claim official CME/CPD credits or accreditation points. Any references to learning outcomes, duration, or course structure are provided for informational purposes only.

If your jurisdiction or employer requires accredited CME/CPD points, you remain responsible for verifying whether a given educational activity can be recognised externally and for submitting documentation through the appropriate channels.

External recognition (if any) is determined by third-party institutions and may vary by country, specialty, and professional body. The Academy cannot guarantee acceptance or conversion into points.

2. Certificate of Participation

For certain courses, the Academy may issue a Certificate of Participation confirming that you attended a training activity and/or completed defined participation requirements.

  • What it confirms: attendance and (where applicable) completion of the course’s participation requirements.
  • What it does not confirm: clinical competence, licensure eligibility, or authorisation to perform procedures independently.
  • Issuance: certificates may be issued digitally and linked to your personal Academy account.

3. Eligibility and verification

Certificates are issued only to verified licensed physicians using their personal Academy account. Account sharing or misrepresentation may result in refusal, revocation, or invalidation of a certificate.

The Academy may request reasonable verification information to protect integrity (e.g., medical license details).

4. Hands-on training and certificates

For hands-on training, a certificate may confirm physical attendance and participation in a supervised educational setting. It does not transfer responsibility and does not imply certification of surgical or procedural competence.

You remain fully responsible for applying any learned technique within your own scope of practice, competence, and regulatory context.

5. Misuse and representation

You may not represent a Certificate of Participation as an official accreditation, board certification, or licence endorsement. Any misleading representation may result in account suspension and/or certificate revocation.

If you wish to reference attendance publicly, use precise wording such as “Certificate of Participation” and avoid terms implying formal accreditation.
