Intellectual Property & Recording Policy — Doctor Yilmaz Academy

This policy governs the ownership, use, and protection of intellectual property and strictly regulates recording, copying, and redistribution of content provided by Doctor Yilmaz Academy. The Academy operates exclusively for licensed physicians and provides professional education only.

1. Ownership of content

All content made available through Doctor Yilmaz Academy, including but not limited to videos, lectures, presentations, images, diagrams, texts, training materials, methodologies, demonstrations, and course structures, is protected by intellectual property laws.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, all intellectual property rights remain vested in Doctor Yilmaz Academy and/or its licensors.

2. Permitted use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access Academy content solely for your personal professional education.

  • Content may not be used for commercial training, resale, or teaching.
  • Content may not be shared with colleagues, clinics, assistants, trainees, or third parties.
  • Access rights terminate automatically upon account suspension or termination.

3. Recording and copying prohibition

Recording of Academy content is strictly prohibited without prior explicit written permission. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • audio recording;
  • video recording;
  • screen recording or screenshots;
  • photography during hands-on sessions;
  • copying, scraping, or automated extraction of content.

The use of technical measures to bypass recording restrictions or digital rights protections is considered a serious violation.

4. Hands-on training environments

During hands-on training sessions, additional restrictions apply to protect safety, confidentiality, and intellectual property.

  • No photography or recording in training areas unless expressly authorised.
  • No recording of instructors, participants, models, patients, or procedures.
  • Mobile devices may be restricted or required to be stored away during sessions.

5. Confidentiality and third-party rights

You must respect confidentiality and third-party rights at all times. This includes patient privacy, instructor rights, and venue-specific confidentiality obligations.

Any incidental capture or possession of confidential or protected material must be reported immediately and permanently deleted upon instruction.

6. Enforcement and consequences

Violations of this policy may result in one or more of the following measures:

  • immediate removal from a training session;
  • temporary or permanent suspension of Platform access;
  • revocation of certificates of participation;
  • legal action where appropriate.

Enforcement actions do not entitle the user to any refund or compensation.
