1. Scope

This Accessibility Statement applies to Doctor Yilmaz Academy’s website and Platform, including course pages, account areas, and video-based educational content delivered through the Academy.

Some third-party services (for example embedded video players, payment providers, or analytics tools) may have their own accessibility characteristics.

2. Our approach to accessibility

We work to make the Platform accessible by design and by ongoing iteration. Where reasonably possible, we aim to:

  • use clear structure with headings, landmarks, and consistent navigation;
  • support keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators;
  • provide sufficient color contrast and readable typography;
  • use descriptive link text and accessible form labels;
  • avoid content patterns that can trigger discomfort (e.g., excessive flashing).

3. Video and learning content

Many Academy courses are delivered via video. Where feasible, we strive to improve accessibility by:

  • using clear audio and speech where applicable;
  • providing structured titles and module descriptions;
  • ensuring controls are usable on common devices and browsers.

Subtitles, transcripts, and alternative formats may not be available for all videos. Where you require an accommodation, please contact us and we will assess what is reasonably possible.

Educational medical imagery and procedural demonstrations can contain visually dense content. If an alternative presentation format would help, we welcome feedback and will consider improvements where practical.

4. Known limitations

While we aim for broad compatibility, some parts of the Platform may not fully meet every accessibility requirement in all circumstances, particularly where third-party components are involved or where legacy content is being improved.

We prioritise fixes that materially improve usability and safety for the largest number of users.

5. Feedback and contact

If you experience an accessibility barrier or need assistance using the Platform, please let us know. Provide the page URL (if possible), a short description of the issue, and the device/browser or assistive technology you use.

6. Continuous improvement

We review accessibility as part of ongoing Platform development. Improvements may include structural refinements, improved keyboard support, better semantics, and enhancements to learning content delivery.
